Introducing Sunday Metrics, our scouting platform for professional football

Today we are proud to introduce Sunday Metrics, the first product crafted by Artabric. Sunday Metrics is a scouting platform for professional football clubs: it brings objective player data and the tools scouts use every day (reports, follow-ups and comparisons) together in one place, for technical departments that want to work with method.

Why scouting

Scouting is one of the most valuable assets a football club has, and yet most clubs still keep it in spreadsheets, shared documents and personal notes. Information that important deserves better: a dedicated tool, a standardised process that reflects each club’s own criteria, and a memory that stays with the club when the people who built it move on.

Sunday Metrics was born from the real needs of the technical department of a professional club, which could not find any existing solution that covered what it considered essential. Instead of adapting its way of working to someone else’s tool, we built one around it. The platform has been in use since January 2026, and after months of everyday work on it, it is ready to reach more clubs.

How we built it

Sunday Metrics is a good example of how we like to make products at Artabric, and of the principles in our manifesto:

  • Simple and intuitive. Scouts should be productive from day one, without training sessions or manuals.
  • Multi-device. The same app works for an advanced search at the office desk and for rating a player from the stands on a phone.
  • Preloaded base data. Players, teams and technical staff are already in the platform, so time goes into evaluating, not transcribing.
  • Only what matters. No decorative data: if a number does not help make a decision, it does not take up space on the screen.

Data and judgment

Data describes with precision what happened on the pitch: minutes played, actions, performance trends. What it cannot capture is how a player reacts to adversity, whether they lead, or how they would fit into a particular dressing room. That is the job of experienced scouts.

That is the balance Sunday Metrics is designed around. The platform provides the method and the objective, structured, comparable data; the scouting team provides the knowledge and judgment built over years of watching football. Neither replaces the other, and together they lead to better-informed decisions.

Try it

Sunday Metrics is designed for clubs, federations and agencies. You can read the launch post on the Sunday Metrics blog (in Spanish) or visit sundaymetrics.com to request a demo.

This is the first product in the Artabric family, but not the last. Stay tuned.

The origin of our name and logo

At Artabric, our identity is deeply rooted in the rich history and culture of Ferrol. When it came time to choose a name for our company, we wanted something that would reflect our strong connection to this region.
